Year 2 enjoy learning about Hinduism

Year 2 studied Hinduism as part of World Religion Week. We were very lucky to have some parents come in and share their knowledge of Hinduism. We found out about special ceremonies and festivals and had a wonderful time making Rangoli patterns. Rangoli are beautiful patterns that Hindus make from coloured powder during special occasions such as Diwali.

Other classes covered other religions; for example, Year 4 visited the Cambridge Buddhist Centre, while Year 5 went to the Cambridge Mosque, and Year 3 learned about Judaism.
