Junior School

Breakfast club

Junior School Breakfast Club runs from 7.15am to 8.00am each day and is open to girls in Years 1 to 6 (not Reception). Breakfast and supervision are available for a small charge, for further information please email the school office.

From 8.00am Pupils welcome to arrive for supervised activity
8.30am School day begins, teachers welcome children are into classrooms
8.45am Registration (all pupils must be in school)
3.20pm School ends (Reception, Year 1, Year 2)
3.30pm School ends (Year 3 and Year 4)
3.40pm School ends (Year 5 and Year 6)

After school club, with a light tea is available for a nominal fee.

Homework club is available

A choice of activities are on offer including art, craft, dance, languages and sport (updated each term)

Senior School

From 7.30am

Students welcome to arrive if parents have completed an early arrival form for the Reception team.

Students must arrive via the Senior School entrance on Bateman Street where they will be asked to sign in. Early breakfast (croissant and orange juice) is available for £1 in the dining room.

Supervised homework club (Mon-Thurs 4.00-6.00pm, Fri 5.00-6.00pm) - no fee.

A range of extra-curricular activities are available at lunch and after school. Students can participate in a number of clubs each week, such as art an craft, dance, languages and sport.

Sixth Form

From 7.30am

Students welcome to arrive

8.30am Registration (all students must be in Sixth Form)

Sixth Form time tables vary depending on each student's subject selections. Each timetable will include free lessons and private study time.


Final lesson of the day ends.


Boarders - a typical week day


Boarders are woken up by one of our boarding housemistresses or a boarding prefect. After breakfast the boarders have time to get ready to join our day girls for the entirety of the school day, which begins at 8.45am with registration.

7.30am Breakfast

Join day students for Registration in Senior School or Sixth Form


School ends

Girls are free to spend time in the boarding house and will be provided with a light snack.


Girls in Year 7 to Year 9 join a structured activity – either a boarding activity or an extra-curricular club in school.


Boarders eat dinner together

Weekends have a different routine, with boarders enjoying brunch later in the morning, before enjoying a range of activities that the boarding community has to offer.
