A Level results 2026

Almost three quarters of A Level grades at St Mary’s School Cambridge were awarded at A*-B with twelve subjects returning 100% of grades at A*-B, across a spread that runs from Psychology, Economics and Geography through to Art, Textiles, Classical Civilisation and Mandarin. This year's outstanding achievements reflect not only the dedication and intellectual curiosity of its students, but also the supportive environment in which young women are encouraged to pursue their ambitions with confidence. 

Particularly impressive are their Latin, French, Spanish and Photography results, where students achieved 100% A* grades, and 60% of English Literature grades were awarded at A*. Girls in Year 13 are heading to universities including Cambridge, St Andrews, Durham, LSE, UCL and Warwick to read subjects as varied as Accounting, Chemistry, Classics, Computer Science, History, Law, Pharmacy and Theatre Studies.  

These fantastic results have secured places at prestigious universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Durham and UCL, where students will pursue subjects ranging from Medicine and Natural Sciences to Architecture and Graphic Design.

GCSE results 2025

Students at St Mary’s Senior School in Cambridge are celebrating after receiving an impressive set of GCSE examination results, with 90% of grades awarded at 9-5 and 80% at 9-6.

Subject wise, students achieved particularly strong performances in disciplines including Additional Mathematics, in which 80% of students achieved the top A grade, Modern Languages, Art and Design Technology. In addition, over 75% of grades in Biology, History and Latin were awarded the top levels of 9-7.

Dr Paddy Wallace, Senior Deputy, said: "What strikes me most about these outstanding results is how they reflect the whole student – academically excellent, yes, but also intellectually curious and personally resilient. Our GCSE students have thrived in an environment in which they feel supported to take on challenges and push themselves further.
