St Mary's girls aim high, not just in exams – in life.
At St Mary's we are inspired by Cambridge and the exciting future possibilities this vibrant city opens up for our girls.
Students benefit from a programme of visiting external speakers, ranging from high-achieving alumnae to academics from the University of Cambridge, and entrepeneurs, leaders and professionals working at the forefront of Cambridge's business world.
Visiting speakers join us to explore a variety of thought-provoking topics: from topical issues and debates, to ground-breaking scientific research, emerging workplace trends and personal career insights.
Ladies Who Lunch
In our popular Ladies Who Lunch series of lunchtime events, students meet and chat informally with successful Cambridge women, who work at the forefront of their chosen field. Speakers share their experiences, offering students a unique insight into different career paths and contrasting perspectives on success.
Past examples include Penny Hubbard who spoke about her training and career path in Law, and Professor Alex Walsham from the University of Cambridge who spoke about her career as an historian.
