Girls inspired by St Mary's Festival of Ideas
Our annual St Mary's Festival of Ideas once again welcomed big thinkers and innovative ideas into School.
Girls were inspired by a range of talks, from what it's like to be a female CEO to the challenge of arctic expeditions to the question of replacing class teachers with robots!
Thank you to all our speakers for their contribution to this exciting week-long programme which has ignited the girls' imaginations and hopefully encouraged them to think 'outside the box'.
Our 2019 programme included talks on:
- Women in Technology - Dr Ennacuer, CEO and Co-founder at CorrisionRADAR Ltd
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) - Dr Cave and Dr Dihal, Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, University of Cambridge
- Book Writing - From Idea to Print - Sorrel May, creator of Hidden Tales - an immersive adventure quest set in Cambridge
