Reporting to: Head of Mathematics
We are seeking two outstanding Teachers of Mathematics to join our high-performing and well-established department from September 2026.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3–5. The ability to teach A Level Mathematics is essential, with Further Mathematics and support for university entrance preparation (STEP, MAT, TMUA) desirable. The role also includes form tutor responsibilities and delivery of PSHEE.
Our large and innovative department of seven specialists achieves excellent outcomes, including 50% A*–A at A Level (Mathematics and Further Mathematics) and nearly 50% Grade 7+ at GCSE. Students benefit from a strong enrichment programme, national competitions and successful progression to leading universities.
We are looking for a well-qualified graduate (PGCE/QTS desirable) with excellent classroom practice, strong subject knowledge and a commitment to academic excellence, safeguarding and wider school life.

Head of Learning Support (Fixed Term, Part-Time) - Junior School
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Fixed Term for 1 Term (Autumn)
Hours: 3 days per week
Salary: £30,965 to £43,671 FTE (£18,579 - £26,202.60 prorata)
Location: St Mary’s School, Cambridge. Chaucer Road.
About the Role:
St Mary’s School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Learning Support to lead and organise our Learning Support programmes across the school. This fixed-term, part-time role will be pivotal in ensuring that students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receive tailored support to thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and organise comprehensive Learning Support programmes across all year groups.
Maintain an accurate SEN register and provision map.
Monitor teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of students with SEND.
Support and guide Learning Support Assistants in delivering effective support.
Assess and identify individual needs, producing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) as required.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in SEND provision, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and external agencies.
