Year 2 discover more about Hinduism

As part of World Religions Week, Year 2 have been finding out about Hinduism. We have learnt about the wonderful Hindu festival called Holi, a Spring festival which is an especially exciting festival for children, because Hindus throw coloured paint powder over each other and use water pistols to drench friends and family members with coloured water! 

Hindus often have special patterns called Mehndi painted on to their hands and feet during festivals and other special occasions. The girls have drawn their own Mehndi designs.
