Our Junior School girls get spots in front of their eyes for this year's Children in Need

The BBC’s Children in Need campaign is one of the biggest and brightest fundraising events in the UK and St Mary’s was pleased to support this year’s event on Friday 19 November.

Leading up to the big day, all girls had the opportunity to purchase Children in Need merchandise, including Pudsey Bears, pin badges and ‘Blush Ears’ headbands. On Friday, girls dressed up in spotty tights and scarves, and there were many different fundraising activities throughout the School.

Our main event was a Bake Sale. St Mary’s students are such enthusiastic bakers that we had to ask only Brookside and Cavendish students to bake, so as not to be overwhelmed with cakes and biscuits on the day!

As always, it was a fun-filled day and at the time of writing St Mary’s Junior School has raised a massive £553.03. Well done to all concerned.
