Junior School entrepreneur interviewed by local radio station

Well done to Eléa, a budding entrepreneur in Year 6 who was interviewed on the Radio Suffolk breakfast show yesterday about her business, Eléa’s Crafts. Eléa has now been asked to be on Radio Cambridge for tomorrow’s breakfast show.

Eléa started making bags for friends, family and teachers as gifts for different occasions, and has since branched out into decorating 'lucky' horseshoes. Her environmentally friendly cotton shopping bags are embellished with buttons and hand stitched "themes". Eléa hopes that people can actively cut down on plastic by using one of her bags.

We are proud that Eléa will be coming up to the Senior School in September as one of our Textiles scholars – we’re sure she will go far, and make the most of the Textiles opportunities at the Senior School.
