Celebrating STEM and the arts (STEAM) with futuristic artwork

Some of our Year 11 and Year 13 talented artists competed successfully against thousands of students globally in the prestigious US-based competition,'The 12th Annual Space Foundation International Student Art Contest', to have their original works included in an online gallery.

Student artists from around the world aged 3–18 were invited to participate by creating and submitting original, space-oriented artwork based on the year's theme of ‘Living, Working and Playing on the Moon’. Some of the students developed work using digital collage techniques, and others drew imaginary scenes of space using vectors on digital software.

The competition received thousands of entries from across the globe and we are so please that all our students’ work was accepted as part of the 374 pictures hosted on their digital gallery.
