An unforgettable Norwich City FC tour for our Year 7 and 8 Footballers

Our Year 7 and 8 footballers recently enjoyed an unforgettable tour with Norwich City Football Club - a fantastic experience packed with inspiration, skill development, and team spirit.

The visit kicked off with an exciting behind-the-scenes tour of Carrow Road, Norwich City’s iconic stadium. From walking through the players’ tunnel to sitting in the dugouts and exploring the changing rooms, the girls were immersed in the professional world of football. It was an eye-opening opportunity that brought the sport to life in a whole new way.

A highlight of the tour was the training sessions at The Nest, Norwich City’s top-class community and training facility. Led by experienced club coaches, the sessions focused on refining technical skills, enhancing tactical understanding, and building confidence both on and off the ball. The girls responded brilliantly to the challenging and supportive environment, learning new techniques while having lots of fun.

The experience was made even more rewarding with a series of competitive fixtures, where the girls put their new skills into action. Their teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship shone through in every match, making us incredibly proud of their attitude and performance.

The outstanding facilities at The Nest gave the students a real taste of what it’s like to train as professionals — something they embraced wholeheartedly. Alongside their development as players, the tour also strengthened friendships and created lasting memories.
