CISC Christmas Card Competition Success

In a bumper year for entries, St Mary’s artists have done extremely well in the Catholic Independent Schools' Conference Christmas Card Competition 2022 which this year was themed ‘Walking in the Light’.

Elena B  was awarded second prize in the Senior Section of the CISC Christmas card competition - many congratulations!  

The judges said of Elena’s work “Her card was a traditional composition, beautifully executed and thought through in terms of the theme, ‘Walking in the Light’. “ 

Grace MacGregor was also awarded highly commended.

The judges said “her image evoked a wistfulness and melancholy that can often come with the Christmas season as well as the hope of the light ahead.” 

We are very proud of Elena’s and Grace’s achievements and the creativity they have shown in interpreting the theme.
