Head of Human Resources
What was your favourite subject at school? Mathematics
How/when did you decide to pursue a career in HR? After university I started working in management, and after five years I joined a University of Cambridge start-up company that grew from 10 to 50 members of staff – so I fell in to a HR role there sort of by accident. I decided to take the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) examinations, and I am now a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.
Why did you decide to work at St Mary’s School, Cambridge? It’s always about the people and I get to work with a great team here.
