Enriched by diversity

With day students and boarders representing over 20 nationalities, a variety of social, religious and secular backgrounds, plus a broad ability range  every day life at St Mary's is enriched by diversity.

Happiness matters

Happiness is important to us and our pastoral care is second-to-none. As a Mary Ward School, traditional Christian values such as integrity, justice, hard work and respect sit at the heart of school life, creating a community in which every girl feels valued, supported and inspired.

Here both extroverts and introverts find their place. Our range of extra-curricular options include sport, drama, music and art, plus coding, creative writing, Model United Nations and Allegro, to name just a few.

There are plenty of opportunities to develop a breadth of life skills, such as leadership, mentoring and learning how to cook healthy, balanced meals.

Outside the classroom, a host of trips and adventures offer opportunities to extend and deepen friendships, to build confidence and skills, as well a providing unique learning experiences.
