Take a tour of our boarding accommodation at Mary Ward House.
Take a tour
Opened in 2017, Mary Ward House provides modern boarding accommodation, designed to create a comfortable, homely atmosphere for our girls.
It is located next to Cambridge University Botanic Garden, just a few minutes walk from our Junior School, Senior School and Sixth Form.
If you are able to visit us in person, we would be delighted to offer a guided tour of Mary Ward House.
Younger boarders share beautifully furbished dormitories with up to five other girls. Girls in Year 10 to Lower Sixth share a double room with one other student, and Upper Sixth students usually have their own single room for the duration of their final year.
All bedrooms provide ample space and are fully equipped with beds, desks, wardrobes, chests of drawers, sinks and safes. Bathrooms are spacious and private, with plenty of showers and hot water for all! There is also an efficient laundry facility.
Our common rooms are comfortable and roomy, perfect for relaxing and socialising. Cosy sofas, TVs, DVD players, Wii and board games, and daily newspapers are all available. There is also WiFi throughout the boarding house, together with communal PCs and printers for everyone to use and enjoy. Should your daughter be peckish in-between meals, drinks and snacks are available in the dining room for girls to help themselves to after school, in the evenings and at weekends.
