Senior students go to Disneyland Paris for International Netball Festival
During the Easter break, 40 Year 7 and Year 8 students visited Disneyland Paris to take part in the International Netball Festival.
They stayed in The Grand Magic Hotel where the girls enjoyed delicious meals and dips in the pool before jumping into netball coaching and tournaments.

On the tournament day, our girls put their skills to the test and played outstandingly! Their hard work paid off and they achieved fantastic results with the U12 A team scoring 1st place in the Shield Competition and the U12 B team coming right being them in 3rd place in the same competition. The U14 A and B teams also played great games with both coming 2nd place in their respective Bowl and Plate tournaments.

During the tournament, the students had the opportunity to meet England and Manchester Thunder Super League player, Paige Reed!

Playing in an International Netball Tournament (which included teams from as far as Australia), was a great competitive opportunity for the girls. They developed their individual and collective skills whilst getting to  meet and make many new friends from all over the world.

The international tournament was not all work no play! The girls also explored the Disneyland and Walt Disney Studio Park, where they mingled with fellow players and enjoyed the thrill of rollercoaster rides (some overcoming their fears for the first time!). On the final night, staff and students g watched the famous fireworks display at Sleeping Beauty's Castle - a magical end to the trip.
