Nine games, nine wins: Junior School girls dominate Bee Netball Tournament!

Our unstoppable squad of eight talented girls from Year 5 and Year 6 descended upon Netherhall for an epic Bee Netball tournament.

Right from the starting whistle, our girls set the court ablaze with their precision passing, lightning-fast movements, and razor-sharp shooting skills. Led by Faiza as Captain and Amy as Vice Captain, this dream team dominated their opponents as they showcased their prowess in every game they played.

With each match came a new triumph, our girls emerged victorious from not one, not two, but nine games! Nine games, nine wins! St Mary's netball team showed great sportswomanship, skill, and sheer determination.

But it wasn't just about the wins; it was about the camaraderie, the teamwork, and the unwavering spirit that our pupils displayed throughout the tournament. From the strategic double dodging to the lightning-fast intercepts, every moment on the court was a testament to their dedication and passion for the game.

And let's not forget the shining stars of the day - Amy, Grace and Nooshi - whose brilliant shooting lit up the scoreboard and secured victory after victory for our team. With passes from the likes of Clio and Faiza, our shooters delivered goal after goal with accuracy and finesse.

As the final whistle blew, our St Mary's netball team stood tall, adorned with the well-deserved medals around their necks and smiles filled with pride. They returned to school not just as champions but as inspiration for our younger aspiring netballers.

A huge congratulations to our phenomenal Year 5 and Year 6 girls' netball team for their outstanding performance. This incredible victory is just the beginning of what promises to be an action-packed season of sports at the Junior School.
