Whoever says that 'girls don't like to compete' has not met the Sixth students at St Mary's
It's lights out and away we go!
The Sixth students (and teachers!) enjoyed a speedy social event at Teamworks Karting in Letchworth. They took to the tracks for karting and refuelled with pizza to celebrate their first term.
Mr Griffiths, Head of The Sixth shares his view on the fun filled evening
“The karting night was great fun for both students and staff. The students showcased their competitive spirit, and we had more pizza than we could eat! We are all looking forward to the next Sixth Social!"
The evening concluded with a nail-biting race for the fastest lap. Winner Lara C. received a score just a hundredth faster than her fellow competitors. A worthy winner, she was awarded house points for her house team, Brookside! Izzy C. gained second place and Sophia G. swooped in at third.
