Students Put Psychology into Practice in Royal Holloway Challenge

Our A-Level Psychology students recently represented the school in the prestigious annual Royal Holloway Psychology Challenge, confidently pitting their critical thinking, research skills and outstanding creativity against students from 61 other schools.

Tasked with investigating, and then communicating, how psychology can help build a healthier and stronger community, our students worked in two teams, 'All in the Mind' and 'The Sigmund Squad'. Each team produced a two-minute video and an academic poster before presenting their ideas to two independent judges from Royal Holloway.

By applying their classroom learning to a real-world issue and explaining complex psychological theories in an engaging and accessible way, our students demonstrated exceptional teamwork, presentation skills and an impressive knowledge of their subject.
