St Mary's Junior School Choir Brings Festive Cheer to the Grand Arcade

St Mary’s Junior School choir, Bella Voce, was delighted to give the lead performance at the Grand Arcade in the city centre on Sunday, as part of Cambridge’s “The Big Switch On”.

Renowned for hosting an array of inspiring community events, the Grand Arcade entertained visitors with performances from local choirs and dance groups, set among the “Christmas is in the Air” decorations.

Bella Voce, this year’s winner of the Girls’ Schools Association Junior Choir of the Year, comprises 26 talented girls from Years 5 and 6, led by Head of Junior School Music, Mrs Elise Dudley.

Their evident delight in performing, combined with the joyful sound of festive songs, created a warm atmosphere and a wonderful introduction to Christmas in Cambridge.
