'Romeo and Juliet' - an outdoor performance in true Elizabethan style

Parents were treated to a delightful performance of 'Romeo and Juliet' in the last week of term, with the grounds of the Junior School providing the perfect open-air playhouse, complete with balcony.

Our Year 5 and 6 girls enthusiastically took on the challenge of one of William Shakespeare's most famous plays, juggling comedy, romance and tragedy to deliver a captivating performance. Through confident acting and clear storytelling they brought the rivalry between the Capulets and the Montagues to life and, ultimately, to untimely deaths.

The production was a wonderful celebration of the girls' talent, teamwork and dedication, and a fitting finale to a busy and successful term.
