Lower School Performers Follow Alice Down the Rabbit Hole
In a superb end-of-term production, our Lower School students took the stage outdoors to bring the magic of Alice in Wonderland to life in the picturesque setting of the Chapel Gardens.
Falling into Lewis Caroll's whimsical world of wordplay and imagination, our talented cast led the audience down the rabbit hole, to a land of inverted logic, eccentricity and surreal landscapes.
With a 75-strong cast and crew, clever props and confident performing, Alice was a celebration of creativity, storytelling and teamwork. Every student played an important role, whether on stage or behind the scenes, demonstrating the collaboration, commitment and enthusiasm that made the performance such a success.
While Wonderland is often seen as a metaphor for the unpredictability of growing up, reality at the real St Mary's could not be more different! Here, curiosity is encouraged, confidence is nurtured, and nobody shrinks from self-belief. Our students are inspired to grow in character, discover their own talents and embrace every new adventure with courage. Thankfully, cakes at St Mary's are never merely bite-sized!
Congratulations to our remarkable cast, crew and staff for creating such a memorable production and a truly magical end to the term.
