Charis C. Wins Prestigious GSA Senior Writing Award 2026

We are delighted to announce that Charis C. has won the prestigious Girls’ Schools Association (GSA) Senior Writing Award 2026 for her outstanding original story, 'After Themis.'

The national competition invited students from GSA schools across the country to respond creatively to the theme 'Girls in 2026: A Life in Robotics and AI.' Charis’ imaginative and thought-provoking entry stood out among the submissions from talented young writers nationwide, earning her the top prize.

Judge and acclaimed novelist, Joyce Efia Harmer, praised the winning entry, saying:

“The writing was precise and controlled, but had that rare quality of being deeply affecting.”

This latest achievement adds to Charis’ already impressive record of success in writing competitions and is a testament to her creativity, intellectual curiosity and love of storytelling.

Congratulations to Charis on this remarkable accomplishment!
