Big Challenges and Brilliant Team Work on ACE Day

Big Challenges and Brilliant Team Work on ACE Day

At our annual ACE Day last term, students from across the year groups stepped away from their usual classroom activities to take on challenges that encouraged them to communicate, collaborate and support one another.

Activities ranged from Ninja Warrior and Nuclear Races to Box End Park, Sibson Lakes, Escape Rooms, inflatables and our Year 11 employability programme. While each experience looked very different, the objectives behind them were remarkably consistent - to listen, problem-solve, persevere, encourage one another and, importantly, be willing to have a go.

Days such as these, which embrace both Academic and Co-Curricular Enrichment, play an important role in fostering the sense of belonging and strong relationships that lie at the heart of happy, confident students.
