Wonderful performances at Senior School Christmas Concert

Once again our musicians and soloists shone in this year's Christmas Concert. Performers wowed the audience with a fantastic array of musical styles. St Mary’s Music Scholar Maryam G. performed Mozart’s Agnus Dei and Music Scholar Gerri S. gave a wonderful performance of Fantasia Opus 3, No 1 on piano. The audience also enjoyed our wind band’s excellent rendition of ‘All I want for Christmas is You’ and Jazzmatazz’s ‘The Lady is a Tramp’, during which they were joined on stage by members of staff for a theatrical number. The evening also featured our Year 7 Choir, who gave a spirited performance of ‘Best day of my life’, as well as our Senior Orchestra, our Training Orchestra, Allegro and Cantore. The finale (The 12 Days of Christmas) gave the audience a chance to get involved and was well received by all. We congratulate our Music Department for all their hard work on another outstanding showcase of talent from our girls and staff.
