Sixth Formers learn life lessons

Sixth Formers learn life lessons

Year 12 day girls and boarders enjoyed a lovely lunch in the beautiful surroundings of the dining hall at St John's College, Cambridge on Saturday 8 February, courtesy of the Stewart family.

Mrs Hilary Stewart arranged for 3 of her close associates and friends to speak to the girls about what they wished they had known at 17.  Barbara Follett, CEO of The Follett Office, Martha Lytton Cobbold, Managing Director of Lytton Enterprises Ltd and Joanne Smith, Group Chief Executive and founder of The Consulting Consortium, reflected on their own lives and distilled their life experience and career journeys into wise words, advice and guidance. From "make a plan and act on it" to "say hello to everyone, relationships are key" the girls and staff were captivated by the life stories of these three very successful women.

We are most grateful to the Stewart family for providing this wonderful opportunity for our girls.
