| Enjoying Ice Cream! |
The girls were well prepared for the visit as they had done extensive research on the area beforehand. Do you know the year of the devastating eruption of Vesuvius or whose villa you would find in Oplontis?
The five-day field trip included climbing the famous Mount Vesuvius, as well as visits to the historical sites at Herculaneum, Pompeii, and Oplontis, The Naples Archaeological Museum, and a full day excursion to the beautiful Isle of Capri. On the last day the girls enjoyed a morning's shopping in Sorrento and delicious Italian ice cream.
