Sightseeing Tour of Cambridge

The sightseeing bus told us lots of interesting things about Cambridge. Hundreds of years ago some very clever people built the Mathematical Bridge in Queens College over the River Cam. They didn’t use nuts or bolts or nails. Some years later people tried to put the Mathematical Bridge together again but they couldn’t so they had to use nuts and bolts and nails.



When we drove along the Backs we went past Kings College Chapel. It is built from creamy coloured bricks and has beautiful stained glass windows. I loved the tour. Lily A.
