Here at St Mary's we have a wide range of activities on offer in the Sixth Form. There is everything from the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme to Rowing, from Young Enterprise to Spanish Film Club, from mentoring to trips to the beach.

The Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award is not only satisfying in its own right but it is also highly valued by universities and employers. By taking this award you will gain a huge number of skills as well as the occasional blister! If you want to take advantage a glorious opportunity to be part of a scheme with a proven track record then St Mary's Sixth Form is the place for you.
Young Enterprise
Many Sixth Formers participate in our Young Enterprise group, building their business skills by setting up and running their own company. This year's group won four awards at local level including the prestigious Best Company, Best Businesswoman as well as Best Presentation and Best Financial Control.
Extra-curricular activities
We also organise, or take part in, a wide range of social, cultural and intellectual activities including:
- Trips to the theatre
- Trips to the cinema
- Tenpin bowling
- Tutored winetasting
- School play or musical
- Jazz Band
- Orchestra
- Choirs
- Lourdes trip
- Travel Bursaries are awarded each year to Lower Sixth Formers to enable them to travel in Europe during the summer.
