Years 7, 8 & 9 Curriculum
Pupils in years 7 – 9 receive 1 x 55 minute and 1 x 1 hour and 50 minute lessons per week.

Years 10 & 11 Curriculum
Pupils in years 10 & 11 receive 1 x 1 hour and 50 minute lessons per week.
Pupils participate in their chosen activity for half a term. In addition to the activities offered in years 7 - 9 pupils have the opportunity to participate in:

Inter-house Competitions
All pupils take part in Inter-house competitions to develop their inter-personal skills and sense of fair play. These take place during curriculum time and include cross-country, hockey, netball and swimming.
Special Events
St. Mary's plays host to the Girls' Schools Association Gymnastic and Dance Display, which provides the girls an opportunity to demonstrate their creative talents in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Sports Day
St. Mary's Sports Day takes place at The Cambridge University Athletics Track. All girls are encouraged to participate, contributing to the whole school Inter-house competition. All parents and friends are welcomed to support the event.
Alpine Adventure Trip
Girls in years 8 & 9 are invited on this trip. This type of trip extends learning beyond the classroom, helping the girls develop new interests, new skills and a new confidence in themselves and what they can achieve.
Holland Hockey Trip
Committed club players in years 9 & 10 are invited to attend the week intensive course to improve their individual and team skills whilst experiencing Dutch opposition and hospitality. To read about the team's October 2008 visit, click here.
