Students cook up an international food storm

The annual International Food Fair took place on Monday 6 November. Senior School students shared food from across the globe that they had baked and cooked themselves. The food fair, organised by the International Committee, is an event that provides everyone in our community with an opportunity to celebrate and share our wondrously diverse cultural heritage. 13 food stalls hosted various cuisines and entertainment including Irish soda bread and oat cookies; Chinese dumplings; Italian bruschetta and pesto pasta; and Danish pastries. Other countries represented included Poland, South Sudan, USA, UK, Nigeria, Guyana, Hong Kong, South Africa and Taiwan. Many thanks to all the girls who contributed and to Mrs Rebecca Landshoff, our International Co-ordinator, who oversaw the organisation of this cultural feast.
