Pre–Prep Curriculum
In the Pre–Prep, Reception and Years 1 and 2 broadly follow the National Curriculum at Foundation and Key Stage 1 levels. In Reception, the timetable is finely balanced between formal learning, imaginative play and physical activity. At Key Stage 1 level, in Years 1 and 2, there is a combination of formal classroom teaching with creative and investigative opportunities.
The curriculum is mainly taught by the form teacher, and includes Science, History, Geography, Religious Education, PE, Drama and Art. In addition, French, Music, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Dance, Gymnastics and Food Technology are taught by specialists.
