At St Mary’s Junior School we are proud of our unique, friendly and homely atmosphere. Each child is nurtured and understood by the caring staff, who take the time to listen and discuss. In our all–girls environment, the classroom is a quiet place where concentration and hard work are easily facilitated. Children are encouraged to question and to investigate. Each child is learning to understand her own potential and her needs. The children are given appropriate opportunity for one to one learning within our personalised approach.
Our week is well balanced from the point of view of academic, physical, pastoral and spiritual guidance. Children who arrive early in the morning are encouraged to take part in meaningful tasks. After school hours children are offered a good variety of activity clubs. After school care extends to 6pm.
