Calendars: Help!
You should find that the calendars are easy and intuitive to use but brief instructions are included on these pages to help you get up to speed quickly. In addition to this online help, RMcGuinness and JToller are also available to assist St Mary’s School staff with any problems in adding or editing events.
Select a Calendar
First, select a calendar.

Keep 2 windows or tabs open whilst you work through these pages: a calendar open in one and these pages in the other:
Firefox: Right–click on link, then select ‘open link in new tab’ or ‘open link in new window’
Internet Explorer: Right–click on link, then select ‘open in new window’
Viewing the Calendars
Anyone can view the calendars currently listed on the calendars page, though in the future we may include some calendars that are only accessible by specific groups of people.
Add Events
Only St Mary’s School staff (and authorised others) may add events or make bookings. You will need to log on in order to do this. (Note that some calendars are set up so that only calendar owners can add events.)
Edit Events
Staff can edit or delete their own bookings. Each calendar also has a calendar owner (listed on the calendars page) who is in overall charge of the calendar and who may edit or delete any of the events or bookings.
Approve Events
Some of the calendars may be set so that events need to be approved by the calendar owner before they are added to the calendar for all to see.
Calendar Administration
JToller is in overall charge of administering the calendars and AEarl helps with creating log–ons for new users. Please e–mail them for assistance.
