webALUMNUS launch 2003
We ‘manage’ all our alumnae using webALUMNUS, a web–based database system developed and hosted by Abattia.com. Fully compliant with the Data Protection Act (1998), it provides a more secure and fully–featured environment than anything that could readily be developed in–house. Wherever you happen to be, webALUMNUS is available over the Internet to give you another way to communicate and interact with us and with each other.

Who can join?

Anyone who is or was a bona fide member of the St Mary’s School community is most warmly invited to join us:

• old girls (and old boys — yes, there are a few!)
• current members of the sixth form
• current or past members of staff
• CJ (IBVM) sisters
• current or past governors
• current or past trustees/guardians
• current or past parents and guardians
• friends of the school

What are the main benefits of joining?

• Maintain contact with all your old friends via the online Who’s Who and via a personal life–time e–mail address that remains the same, no matter how often you move location or change other e–mail addresses.
• Ensure that details about you are accurate, appropriate, comprehensive and completely up to date.
• Keep informed about news, events and issues relating to the school and webALUMNUS members immediately they arise.
• Manage, report and upload pictures about your own news, events and activities.
• Benefit from an expansive network of old girls’ professional and business contacts with whom you share a common school heritage.
• Share your knowledge, skills and advice with current and future generations of St Mary’s girls seeking university information, career guidance or work experience.
