You can use the comprehensive webALUMNUS search facility to find not only your old class mates, but also those with similar interests, occupation or location, etc. as yourself. In order to make best use of the system, we therefore encourage you to add your data, keep it up to date and make yourself visible. (See below for further information and hints.)

Add your data!

Log on to St Mary’s webALUMNUS and you will be able to update your data and add further details and notes about yourself. You can also upload two photos if you wish. You can add whatever you like but, in particular, please include your:

• current e–mail address
• current home address
• maiden/married name(s)
• occupation(s)
• current interests
• school details (especially the year you joined St Mary’s and the year you left)
• school activities and attainments
• notes about yourself

Adding information about yourself is very easy to do — it is usually just a matter of clicking on the Add button, entering your information, deciding whether to display your data or not and then clicking on Submit and Confirm.

Add notes about yourself

To add general notes about yourself (as at Friends Reunited):

1. Click on ‘Notes About Me’
2. Click the Add button
3. Enter your notes in the text box
4. Add a number in the Display Sequence box (e.g. 1, 2, 3 etc. — you can add further notes in additional text boxes on future occasions)
5. Click Submit
6. Click Confirm

Your ‘Who’s Who’

Once you have added your details, click on ‘My Who’s Who’ to check your entry. Note that anything that is ‘greyed out’ will not be visible to other members.

Find other members

To find your friends or other members, simply log on to make use of the comprehensive search facility — you can search using a wide variety of criteria.

Search hints

Surname?

If you want to find someone by the surname they used at school, you need to tick (check) the Search on Previous Family Name box

Less is more!

The less information you include, the more likely you are to find the person you are looking for (for example, if you enter ‘Kat’, you will find Kate, Katie, Katy, Kathleen, Kathryn, Katharine, Katherine, etc.)

Year group (class of...)

To find someone in your year group, search using Subgroup 3 (and nothing else)
