• You will get a unique username and password.
• webALUMNUS incorporates Abattia’s ground–breaking data privacy technology, the Consensus Wrapper. This enables us to offer you a secure service according to your preferences for the disclosure and use of your personal data, while allowing us to comply with privacy regulations.
• The system will protect your rights over the data it holds about you. You will be able to control what data is held on the system, and whether this data is visible to other users.
• The webALUMNUS system will ensure that we handle your personal data in the way that you specify.
• webALUMNUS keeps track of how, and by whom, it is used. When signing on for the first time, all users must agree to clearly stated terms of use, which are monitored and strictly enforced.
• Where we have a contact address for you, a telephone number and any basic information about your time at school, then this will be included on our database. However, this information will only be visible to other registered, online members of this closed web community.
• By registering, you will be able to add to, or alter, this information as necessary, or make changes to its visibility to other members if you wish.
• The information we keep is never sold or passed on by us to commercial third parties for purposes unconnected with the School or The Pastonians’ Association; it is only used by us, or by third parties on our behalf and under our direction, for purposes related to the School or The Pastonians’ Association. These purposes include:
  1. Allowing you and us to keep abreast of where our former students are and what they are doing.
  2. Administering The Pastonians’ Association and keeping in touch with you.
  3. Supporting the activities of St Mary’s School.
