Admissions
Bursaries
A Bursary is means-tested financial support towards the payment of school fees.  Assistance is awarded on a sliding scale up to 100% of the school fees.

St Mary’s may also consider assisting existing parents with a contribution to help reduce school fees should their financial position change adversely and make the continuing attendance of their daughter at St Mary’s difficult.

The Bursary Subcommittee of the Governing Body meets to consider the relative merits of applications for financial assistance.  When considering an application, the Committee takes into account parental income and the value of family assets including the family home.  The Committee seeks to establish what candidates will bring to our school community.

The provision of all bursary funding is at the discretion of the school and is subject to the means-testing rigour expected of schools with charitable status.

Application Process and Deadline

To apply for a Bursary, please complete and return a Bursary application form (together with supporting evidence) to the Bursar, Mr Duncan Askew, by 30 November 2011.
