Admissions
Application Process

The application process usually begins at least twelve months prior to joining the School. After visiting us and deciding that you would like to apply, a Registration Form must be completed and submitted to the Registrar, accompanied by the £75 registration fee. Overseas applicants should contact the Registrar (registrar@stmaryscambridge.co.ukto obtain account details for a telegraphic transfer of the registration fee.

The closing date for applications is 30 November; should you wish to apply after this date we ask that you contact the Registrar to see if we are able to accept the application. Applicants who also wish to apply for a Scholarship in Creative Arts, Drama, Music or Sports must submit their Registration Form and Scholarship Application form by 30 October in the year preceding entry.

We will ask your current school to send us a short report on your personal and academic progress to date, and Entrance Tests for those applying for entry to Years 7-9 then take place in School at the end of January. We aim to let you know the outcome within a week of sitting the tests. At the same time we will also let you know if you have been awarded one of the Creative Arts, Drama, Music or Sports Scholarships, if you have applied for one of those.
