Helping Others

In 2005–2006, an amazing total of £20,757 was raised!

St Mary’s girls are renowned for their lively and generous response to the needs of the wider community and, each year, thousands of pounds are raised for a wide variety of both local and national charities. Although our intent is serious, a lot of fun is had by all when it comes to dreaming up and organising innovative ways of raising money. These often include discos, sports matches, home clothes days, hunger lunches, raffles, cake-making, talent competitions, car-washing and much more besides! Of all these events, the undisputed highlights must be the annual fancy dress fun run on Coe Fen and the sixth form revue.

Raising money to send sick and handicapped children to Lourdes is one of our main fundraising activities of the year. You can also see how much money we raised in all last year and who we helped. Please bookmark our Help Online page! You can help others at no cost to yourself by clicking on the links every day. Thank you!
