1991

  •  ‘Crush’s’ link block is modified.

1993

  •  The small chapel, hall B, a laboratory and extra classrooms are built.

1997

  •  Mrs Morag Chapman, Acting Headmistress 1997-8.

1998

  •  Mrs Gina Piotrowska, Headmistress 1998-2000.

As part of the school’s Centenary celebrations Cardinal Basil Hume opened St Mary’s Sixth Form Centre in September 1998. It offers modern facilities in elegant surroundings and was designed for over one hundred sixth fomers. There are separate spacious common rooms for the Upper and Lower Sixth, an exclusive study facility with integral reference library and neighbouring computer suite, a workshop area (for set designers and Young Enterprise Company), three teaching rooms, changing rooms and a shower room.
