Clare College Sports ground was the perfect venue for the Junior School Sports Day on Monday and the atmosphere throughout the whole morning was superb.
The girls all participated in at least three races and were awarded coloured ribbons and points for their houses for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
A new event - field activities provided yet more thrills as the girls in KS2 competed in different class throwing events.
The points were totalled and Emmanuel came out top this time.
The young visitor and parent races were hotly contested with the mothers and fathers very keen to show their daughters just how competitive they could be too!
Everybody had a wonderful time and the picnic set against the backdrop of a clear blue sky enabled everyone to enjoy lunch and then to return to school in time for Prizegiving.
