After achieving the prestigious rank of 1st Kyu Sho in September, Year 11 student Sara R impressed once again at an event held to celebrate 30 years of the English Shotokan Karate Association's Championships. Sara was selected to participate in the opening ceremony on behalf of the Associations' elite squad, performing the Kata Jion, named after the temple of Shaolin.
