St Mary's sparkle on stage
The University Concert Hall, Cambridge was once again alive with the sound of music on 14 December as over 200 St Mary’s students took to the stage to perform a wide and varied repertoire of music ranging from Mozart to Mendelssohn plus a healthy dose of jazz and modern classics for the annual Christmas concert.
Highlights included Janet Y’s impressive performance of the final movement of Mozart’s “Piano Concerto in C major” and the staff spectacular that is “Ruby d’Amour and the Diamond Geezers” once again brought the house down! As has become a St Mary’s tradition the concert ended with a rousing rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas with hearty singing from our audience. Well done to all the performers and the inimitable Music team!
