St Mary's Sixth Formers had the chance to mingle with the stars as they took part in a charity fashion show at the Guildhall, London, on 30 January.
Fifteen Sixth formers took part in the event which was raising money for the Bobby Moore Fund.
With a theme of East Meets West the show allowed the girls to show-off their textiles creations made as part of their portfolios of work for their A Level Art and Design Textiles Course.
The St Mary's section of the catwalk show was called 'Here come the Girls'. The Sixth Formers spent all day on the Saturday of the show rehearsing and helping out backstage, before taking part in the main event in the evening. It was an excellent opportunity for the students to experience all the planning and organisation involved in putting on a high profile event.
Stars at the show included Dave 'the Kid' Jensen (the voice of Capital Gold and Planet Rock), Hardeep Singh Kholi (writer, comedian and presenter) and Matthew Wright, all of whom compered the show. Tyler Rix the talented young saxophonist, and Meliz Serman, mezzo soprano, also performed.
