Sixth Form Rowing Teams Shine
The Sixth Form rowing teams were busy during May with two crews entered in the Head of the Cam race at the beginning of the month where the Upper Sixth Crew were the second-fastest women's novice crew. The City of Cambridge Sprint Regatta during the middle of May saw the Upper Sixth crew beat the women's Champion of the Thames juniors, whilst the Lower Sixth dispatched the Stephen Perse girls, leading to an all-St Mary's final which was won by the Lower Sixth! The competition continued with the Champion of the Thames Race and a combined Lower and Upper Sixth crew were the fastest junior crew and once again, the second-fastest women's novice crew overall.

The Nines Regatta ended the month with both the Upper Sixth and Lower Sixth crews entered in the race which once again ended in an all-St Mary's final. This time, the Upper Sixth were triumphant over the Lower Sixth. As in previous years, St Mary's crews will be racing in the town bumping races in July under the city of Cambridge banner. Support is always welcome.
Congratulations to all the girls, and special thanks to Mrs Sue Brown and the many other members of staff who dedicate so many weekends supporting them.
