Parents are being asked to ensure they do not send girls to school if they are displaying flu-like symptoms or temperatures over 38.5 degrees.
Following a few girls being sent to school with a temperature or sore throat we are asking all parents and guardians to be on the look-out for signs of illness, and to help us prevent a further spread of any virus.
The call comes after six pupils were diagnosed this week with Swine Flu.
Health and Safety manager, Paul Woods, said: “We are confident that our measures in relation to infectious diseases are both rigorous and practical. However, we do ask parents help us out by making sure they do not send sick girls to school.
“We are pleased to inform parents that we are doing all we can to keep girls healthy and well, and look forward to welcoming any unwell students back to school after they have fully recovered.”
