As part of their topic on Animals and their Habitats the children are learning to find out about the natural world and to identify some features of living things. The hands-on approach of the Reptile Experience gave them the chance to see and handle animals, helping them to identify their features and begin grouping the animals into families. The children were visited by tarantulas, scorpions, a boa constrictor, a blue-tongued skink, a tortoise and millipedes. They bravely chose to hold the bearded dragon and a milk snake!
