Year 13 physicists enjoyed an informative trip to the European Organization for Nuclear Research – CERN in Geneva.
The group spent their time exploring the Visitors Centre exhibitions, as well as a three hour tour of several experiments. The girls were privy to places which members of the public do not normally have access to giving them a real insight into this fascinating company.
On the second day, students took a tour of the United Nations building which was raved about by everyone who went.
The girls had just enough time to take in the sights of Geneva, including the city’s famous water fountain.
