The annual fun for Lourdes Fundraising Fortnight has begun and proceedings have got off to a quacking good start!
St Mary's has always had an impressive tradition of charity effort, but the Lourdes fortnight always highlights the huge generosity of pupils, parents and staff, not only in terms of money spent, but also time invested organising events.
This year's highlights will include the ever-popular dog show on 24 March, a male netball match on 23 March and the opportunity for pupils to 'Sponge the teachers' on 18 March.
Posters advertising individual classes' money-raising efforts are currently going up throughout the school corridors.
So far, within the first two days, those taking part in the fun have guzzled down cakes, bobbed for apples and fished for yellow rubber ducks.
A huge well done to those classes who have already undertaken their event, and good luck to those yet to display their fundraising talents!
Keep your eyes on the website for more pictures and news on events taking place throughout the last two weeks of half term.
